About The Role
Gilbert Meher are working on behalf of a premium national luxury elderly care home provider to recruit a Home Manager for a medium sized care home in Prestwick.
Residents benefit from a number of luxury and healthcare services as well as an extensive range of leisure, social and recreational activities, with excursions and in-house entertainment. The home has a good Care Inspectorate record and excellent local reputation.
The role is to manage all day-to-day aspects of the home including ensuring delivering the highest quality of person-centred care, meeting regulatory requirements, staff recruitment and management and ensuring the home’s profitability through occupancy and private fees.
Our client is a highly thought of major provider and offers excellent support and development opportunities as well as an attractive package including a salary up to £50k DOE plus 20% annual bonus.
• Senior elderly care professional with 2+ years’ experience managing nursing homes. RGN/RMN/RNLD is preferred but not essential, but a good CI record is required.
• Able to inspire and mentor teams of staff through promotion of strong company values.
• Strong commercial and business acumen and internal and external stakeholder management.
• Experience of meeting standards provided by the CI and local authority.
