Gilbert Meher is an Executive Search & Selection Consultancy that specialise within the Healthcare, Social Care, Medical Device and Life Science industries. Since being founded in 2011, we have built a formidable reputation as one of the market leaders in Executive Search within these specialist sectors.

We are also proud to be one of the top recruitment employers within Leeds and Zurich and have ambitious plans to continue this growth, both within the UK and internationally. Our aim is to be different, to break away from the typical recruitment stereotypes and build a business that is based on our core values of passion, precision and integrity.

Our Journey

  1. Gilbert Meher Founded

    2011

    Gilbert Meher was formed by Jonathon Brooks.

    The first office was opened in Bramham.

  2. Graeme Dobson joined the business.

    2012

    Graeme Dobson joined the company as a self-employed consultant.

  3. Jonny Stewart joined the business as a Director

    2013

    Jonny Stewart joins the team as the second Director.

    Gilbert Meher moved offices to Broad Gate, Leeds.

    Graeme Dobson appointed a Director.

  4. First Employees Start

    2014

    We appoint our first ever employees.

    We move into large offer space on Park Row, Leeds

  5. Gilbert Meher Zurich

    2015

    The Gilbert Meher Zurich office is opened by Suzanne Jaeger

  6. Medical Devices Sector Opened

    2016

    The brand new Medical Devices team is formed.

    The Park Row office expands and triples in size

  7. Life Science Sector Opened

    2017

    We formed our brand new Life Sciences division

  8. Laing Buisson Finalists

    2018

    Gilbert Meher are finalistis in the 2018 Laing Buisson Awards.

  9. New Divisions & a New Office

    2019

    Moved into our brand new Leeds HQ

    Fae Mell joins the business to head up our brand new contract division

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

As a company who specialise within the healthcare markets, we are acutely aware of the impact that we can have as a business on people who are in care. We spend most of our day speaking to Candidates and Clients who impact the lives of millions of people throughout the world and we think it’s important that we play our part.

Every year a Charity of the Year is chosen by our employees and we raise money through a number of organised events. This can range from a simple bake sale to a more active endurance event! You will also find us getting involved with other volunteer initiatives throughout the year too and we are always keen to volunteer our services wherever people will have us. The residents at a local care home were the lucky recipients of a solo performance from our very own Nick Connell this year.

We also feel that it’s imperative that we act responsibly when it comes to the environment too and have already made a significant commitment to this. Our new Eco-Friendly head office has seen the reduction of over 13,000 single-use coffee cups, saved 4,000 kilowatts of energy and saved the equivalent of 17 trees.
