As area manager you will be responsible for the overall management of 6-8 children’s homes, varying from 1 to 3 beds. These homes are located across Devon, judged as Good or Outstanding with Ofsted, and each have a registered manager that will directly report into you.
You can expect to become the responsible individual for these services, ensuring that the legal responsibilities for the organisation are effectively discharged for the identified suite of services. As area manager you will also will complete all organisation processes to ensure management, monitoring and governance of the services is robust. This includes a monthly service review for each home, oversight of recruitment through Vacancy Filler, training through Careshield, recording and managers monitoring through our bespoke recording system, Clientbridge and Incident reviewing as part of Operational Governance (IRG).
By taking on the role of Area Manager, you will become a vital part of the Senior Operational team who work together in ensuring all the children's homes are effectively supported.
