Children's Registered Manager (Level 5 Required)

We are collaborating with an organisation committed to creating a nurturing, stable and supportive environment for children and young people. The team is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised care, that empowers children to thrive emotionally, socially and academically.

As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our children's residential home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and all relevant regulations. Your role will be pivotal in managing and supporting our staff, implementing individualised care plans, and creating a positive, safe environment that fosters growth and resilience for each child in care.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the residential team, providing support, guidance, and professional development
  • Ensure all services meet and exceed regulatory and Ofsted requirements
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet each child’s unique needs and aspirations
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff
  • Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and empathy within the home
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to maintain high-quality care

Requirements:
  • Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (essential)
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a children’s residential setting
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
