Gilbert Meher is working with a leading, medium-sized adult social care provider with care homes largely based in the North. The company supports elderly people, as well as those with mental health and disability needs. With over a decade of experience, the company focuses on delivering high-quality care supported by innovative training.
There is an immediate requirement for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join the business. The role is centred around working with the company’s senior management to inform business strategy using financial information, as well as relaying information from accounting departments to the executive and management teams.
Experience / Candidate
We are looking for ambitious, self-starters who would like to work across a commercial and fast-paced organisation. With a strong background in finance (supported by an ACA/ACCA qualification), you will be looking for a wider role which will allow you to make an impact on the business.
You will have the opportunity to feed into the overall business strategy and direction of the company, by combining your hands-on financial experience with broader commercial thinking.
Experience of relevant financial operating systems is essential (Sage 200 and SAPA experience particularly advantageous). Having a practice background is an advantage.
