Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 per annum

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Manager to lead our team and oversee the operations of our luxury residential care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a supportive and enriching environment for both residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership and management to all staff members, promoting a culture of excellence, compassion, and professionalism.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, including staffing, budget management, and resident care planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the resident experience and meet their individual needs and preferences.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, fostering a sense of trust and partnership.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the care home, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the luxury residential care sector is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices within the care sector.
  • A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • A commitment to delivering person-centered care and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care or management are desirable.
