Gilbert Meher are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading care providers who are looking for an Interim Home Manager for one of their medium sized residential care homes based in Oxfordshire. 
 
Overview
 
Role: Home Manager
Hours: Full Time
Contract Length: 12 months, covering maternity 
Rate of Pay: £60,000 per annum 
  
Duties

  • Provide information, advice and support to residents, families and staff
  • Maintaining, and working to improve the home’s CQC rating
  • Manage a team of Social Care workers
  • Promote residents' rights and duties and encourage them to join activities
  • Help residents to access local services
  • Monitor business performance and quality of care
  • Agree contracts, budgeting and fundraising
  • Develop policies and practices and keep confidentiality
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff
 
Experience Required
  • Proven experience managing a care home for the elderly 
  • A demonstrable record of CQC compliance as a Care Home Manager
  • Experience in increasing and maintaining occupancy levels within a care home
  • Track record of successfully managing a team of Social Care staff
  • Right to work in the UK
