Gilbert Meher are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading care providers who are looking for an Interim Clinical Support Manager for a large care home providing nursing and dementia care, based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

 

Overview

 

Role: Clinical Support Manager

Hours: 5 Days per week

Contract Length: 3 months initially, with a view to extend

Rate of Pay: Up to £400 per day + Accommodation



Duties

 

  • Working closely with the Home Manager to ensure efficient and effective day to day running of the home
  • Making sure the level of clinical care goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence and supervising/coaching colleagues to provide an excellent service for residents
  • Ensuring CQC compliance is met, and the homes rating is maintained
  • Lead and mentor less experienced members of the team

Experience Required

  • Qualified Nurse
  • Active Nursing PIN
  • Ideally have experience in a management role within a care home
  • Experience in person centred care planning within a care home setting
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear enhanced DBS
