This forward-thinking organisation now seeks an experienced Lead Nurse to take nursing responsibility for a 100+ bed locked/Medium/Low secure service rehabilitation Hospital based in Berkshire.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for the professional and clinical leadership of the nursing teams across the hospital. The role will also involve taking the lead on quality, patient safety and the service user experience. In addition to this the successful candidate will lead within the service on promoting clinical innovation and delivering continual development of nursing practice based upon evidence and relevant research. You will also be required to ensure excellence in nursing practice and that service delivery is based on NICE guidelines and other relevant documents and guidance. As a lead nurse, you will have demonstrable RMN post registration experience and be able to demonstrate post registration study and development. You will be expected to be a role model, offering mentoring and supervision to other nursing staff and students. Previous experience in a secure setting and rehabilitation is essential and you will have direct line management responsibility for a number of Ward Managers.

•Experience of acting up in the absence of the Clinical Services Manager
•NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council Registered)
•Extensive clinical management experience gained in a secure rehabilitation environment.
