Gilbert Meher are Recruiting for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer. working with a Multi-National, Bluechip Manufacturer based in North Yorkshire.

Job Description: As an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure their optimal performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical equipment.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance staff and departments to achieve maintenance goals.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of PLC or Automation Controls systems to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications and Skills: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Relevant electrical engineering qualification or apprenticeship.
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in an FMCG or Chemical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with PLC or Automation Controls systems.
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
