Job Description: As a Mechanical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment on site to ensure their optimal performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on equipment.
- Responding to breakdowns and emergencies on site.
- Diagnosing faults with equipment.
- Keeping detailed records of all faults and repairs.
- Creating maintenance procedures.
- Ordering specialist components, fixtures or fittings.
Qualifications and Skills: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification or apprenticeship.
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in an FMCG or Chemical environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment used in manufacturing.
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
