An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Peripatetic Home Manager to join a respected medium-sized care provider, managing multiple elderly care homes across the North West of England. This position offers a competitive salary of £70,000, plus mileage reimbursement, and provides the chance to support and drive improvement across a range of high-quality homes.
Role Overview:
As a Peripatetic Home Manager, you will travel across the group’s care homes, offering leadership and operational support. You will step in where needed to ensure high standards of care and compliance, supporting existing home managers or leading homes through periods of transition. With a focus on delivering exceptional care for elderly residents, including those with dementia and complex needs, your role will be key to maintaining the group's reputation for quality and compassion.
This is a varied and rewarding position, offering the chance to work closely with senior management to implement best practices, improve outcomes, and ensure compliance with CQC regulations across the homes you manage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of various care homes across the North West.
- Ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with CQC regulations.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to home managers and care staff.
- Implement strategies for improvement in underperforming homes and support in achieving ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ CQC ratings.
- Work collaboratively with the senior management team to develop and implement care strategies.
- Drive staff training, development, and performance to ensure high standards of care are consistently maintained.
- Ensure effective communication with residents, families, and external agencies.
Person Specification:- Proven experience as a Home Manager or Peripatetic Manager within elderly care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
- Experience in leading teams and improving outcomes in care settings.
- Flexibility to travel across the North West region and manage homes on an interim basis.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
