Gilbert Meher are working closely with a wonderful independent foster care provider who are looking for a placement team manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with an independent and leading fostering organisation with a unique therapeutic approach, providing high quality foster care for children of all ages and abilities.
We are seeking a Placement Team Manager to manage the group’s busy Referrals department, where we receive enquiries from local authority customers seeking to refer children and young people to foster families for placement.
The aim of this role is To lead and manage the ‘Referrals’ team, who are the company’s primary customer facing team. To own the end to end process of referral to child placement, to ensure best child matching of referrals to foster families. To achieve company expectation through maximising foster family utilisation. The role will also include line management responsibilities for members of the team.
You will be a qualified social worker and an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships with all colleagues across the business and our local authority partners. You will be a team player with a dynamic and confident personality, who is self motivated and able to motivate others. In addition you will be highly organised with excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM system would be advantageous however this is not essential. You will be familiar working in a fast paced environment with good levels of emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
