Gilbert Meher is working closely with a care and education charity who specialise in services for children and young adults with special needs including autism.
They are looking for a principal for a specialist School that’s based in Berkshire, the school focuses on transforming the lives of young people on the autism spectrum
The aim is to deliver the highest level of education to ensure the best life chances become a sustainable reality for every young person.

This is a really exciting opportunity for an experienced, ambitious and qualified educationalist; a passionate leader within the specialist education sector to lead the way in transforming the lives of young people on the autism spectrum.
- Oversee the development and operational management of the school with the support of the UK’s leading charity for people with autism.
- Translate the innovative inclusive vision of the group for the school into everyday practice.
- Create a distinctive culture so that from the moment a person joins the school they will know this is a school where pupils are pushed to achieve beyond what is expected and are empowered to make positive choices about their own lives and have rich and varied experiences.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities as well as demonstrating specialist ASD knowledge (through experience and practice).
The permanent role is due to start in January. If you are an interim candidate, we require an interim candidate to start from October to January (could be extended depending on the recruitment process).
