Location: Office base, Leeds Covering the Yorkshire region

 

Contract: Permanent

 

Hours: Full Time

 

Gilbert Meher are working closely with an independent national foster care provider in their search for a regional manager

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work; an independent and leading fostering organisation with a unique therapeutic approach, providing high quality foster care for children of all ages and abilities.  They were judged ‘Good’ with outstanding features in our latest inspection.

 

The role

 

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and creative Regional Manager to join our established team in Leeds. The Regional Manager will be responsible for managing the provision of our therapeutic fostering service in the Yorkshire region.  The post holder will lead and manage a staff team to ensure that the highest quality therapeutic fostering services are delivered for the children, families and customers of the group.

 

You

 

You will be a qualified social worker currently registered with the HCPC with previous managerial experience. You will have experience of dealing with complex, regulated processes and a wide ranging knowledge of fostering and fostering legislation.  You will have a robust understanding of the importance of safeguarding children and young people and keep this at the core of your practice. 

 

You will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate confidence and leadership as you will be working with all stakeholders across the business.  You will have good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.  Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be advantageous but is not essential.           

 

 

The package

 

We offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum dependent on experience, a company car OR car allowance, pension and private healthcare, life insurance, generous annual leave and a great working environment.
