Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team to consistently deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day operations, including compliance with regulatory standards, such as CQC.
  • Drive business performance by meeting or exceeding quality, occupancy, and financial targets.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with residents, families, local authorities, and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, and retention, creating a positive, supportive working environment.
  • Ensure the home operates efficiently, providing the best care for residents while meeting business goals.
  • Promote the home within the local community to attract new residents and build lasting connections.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach, ensuring resident satisfaction and upholding the home’s excellent reputation.
About You:We are looking for a motivated, results-driven leader with a proven background in managing care homes or as a Deputy Manager ready to take the next step. You’ll have the skills to balance operational management with compassionate leadership, ensuring the home runs smoothly while creating a welcoming, homely environment for residents.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams within a care home setting.
  • A solid understanding of regulatory requirements (CQC, safeguarding, health and safety).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in the private fee-paying market and knowledge of local community engagement.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Ability to develop and deliver marketing strategies to increase the home’s visibility and attract residents.
  • Experience in driving staff retention, training, and building a positive workplace culture.
