Job Title: Unit Manager (RGN)

Location: Liverpool, United Kingdom

Hours: 36 hours per week Days

Salary: Up to £23 per hour

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) looking for an opportunity to take on a leadership role in a supportive and caring environment? We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Unit Manager at our medium-sized nursing home in Liverpool.

  • Lead and supervise a dedicated team of nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents
  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operation of the unit, including staff allocation, care planning, and medication management
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and update care plans accordingly, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, promoting best practices and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or queries in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Participate in staff training and development activities, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Commitment to providing person-centred care and promoting the health and well-being of residents
  • Flexibility to work 36 hours per week, including weekends and occasional bank holidays
  • Competitive pay rate of up to £23 per hour
