Third Quarter Incentive: Ready Steady Cook
Last week, as an incentive reward for an outstanding team performance over the last quarter, the entire Gilbert Meher team celebrated by taking part in a cooking competition. The event was hosted by the local company Get Cooking, based in Farsley. The Ready Steady Cook style competition was a huge success, with all teams whipping up some fantastic dishes enjoyed by colleagues.
The GM team split into 6 smaller teams and were given just 15 minutes to come up with 3 Spanish tapas ideas. Each team had to work with only the ingredients provided.
Once teams had their dishes decided, the hosts handed out our ingredients and competition began. From then on, we had one hour to prepare and present 3 dishes to the judges.
Although the sangria was flowing, there were some outstanding dishes created in such a short period of time. Risotto, stuffed peppers, calamari and Spanish Omelette to name just a few creations.

Finally, congratulations to captain Connor Whitehouse and the rest of his winning team, Jade Maguire, Matthew Brown and Craig Ruck. The underdogs claimed the 1st place spot with some inventive culinary creations.
Altogether, a great afternoon enjoyed by the Gilbert Meher Team.
