Deputy Manager – Nursing Home

Location: Aylesbury

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Nurse Qualification Essential

A highly regarded care provider is seeking a Deputy Manager for one of their well-established nursing homes in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed, qualified nurse with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for delivering outstanding care to older people.

The Role:

The successful candidate will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of clinical, residential, and dementia care are consistently delivered. They will play a pivotal role in mentoring staff, overseeing care plans, and helping to drive quality improvements across the service.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC Pin essential)
  • Proven experience in a leadership or senior role within a nursing or care home setting
  • Ideally some experience in commissioning, although this is not essential
  • A strong track record of longevity in previous positions
  • A driven, personable and professional approach, with the ability to inspire and lead a dedicated team
  • Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and commitment to best practice in care
