Role: Clinical Deputy Manager
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus
 
Are you a dedicated healthcare professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional care? We are seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to support the management of our 114-bed care home in Peterborough, ensuring high standards of care and compliance across all areas.
 
About the Role
As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical and operational aspects of the home. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will lead the nursing and care teams to deliver outstanding person-centred care while maintaining compliance with CQC regulations.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in the daily operations of the home, ensuring exceptional care standards.
  • Provide strong clinical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the nursing and care teams.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage, review, and update care plans to ensure they reflect the needs and preferences of residents.
  • Oversee medication management and ensure safe practices across the home.
  • Support staff development through training, supervisions, and appraisals.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
 
About You
  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Proven experience in a senior clinical role within a care home or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a commitment to staff development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
