Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities include:

  • Servicing, maintaining, and installing equipment at customer sites nationwide.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer demands, working autonomously and as part of a wider team.
  • Installing new machines and providing operator training.
  • Liaising effectively with customers, colleagues, and the sales team.
  • Participating in training courses as required.
  • Regular travel and overnight stays may be necessary.
Required Skills:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • A recognized electrical engineering qualification.
  • Field engineering experience, with essential PLC interrogation experience (Siemens S7/TIA & OMRON).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A full UK driving license and a polite telephone manner.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure.
Location and Package:
Ideally, you'll live within one hour of our HQ, although this is flexible based on the right candidate. The salary ranges from £40,000 to £50,000, dependent on experience and skill set.
