Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities include:
- Servicing, maintaining, and installing equipment at customer sites nationwide.
- Responding promptly and professionally to customer demands, working autonomously and as part of a wider team.
- Installing new machines and providing operator training.
- Liaising effectively with customers, colleagues, and the sales team.
- Participating in training courses as required.
- Regular travel and overnight stays may be necessary.
Required Skills:To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A recognized electrical engineering qualification.
- Field engineering experience, with essential PLC interrogation experience (Siemens S7/TIA & OMRON).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A full UK driving license and a polite telephone manner.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure.
Location and Package:Ideally, you'll live within one hour of our HQ, although this is flexible based on the right candidate. The salary ranges from £40,000 to £50,000, dependent on experience and skill set.
