General Manager - Luxury Care Provider

Location: Worcester, UK

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum + Bonus

Are you an experienced and business-oriented manager with a passion for delivering exceptional care in a luxury environment? Our client, a prestigious luxury care provider based in Worcester, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of General Manager for their medium-sized luxury nursing home.

About the Role:
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team and driving the overall success of the nursing home. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to residents while also effectively managing the business operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and inspiring a team of dedicated care professionals to deliver outstanding care services.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with CQC regulations.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance the quality of care and resident satisfaction.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders to maintain the home's reputation as a leading luxury care provider.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and financial KPIs to drive continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role within the healthcare sector, preferably in a luxury care environment.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of effectively managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
  • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and experience in ensuring compliance within a care setting.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and empower teams to deliver excellence.
  • A passion for providing person-centered care and a commitment to upholding the dignity and wellbeing of residents.
  • Ideally, a Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification, although not essential.
