Role: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Ellesmere Port
Salary: £55k per annum

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Manager to lead a large, well-established residential and nursing home in the Ellesmere Port area. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and creating a positive, supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

The Role

As Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring it meets and exceeds regulatory requirements and provides the highest standards of person-centred care. You will lead, mentor, and inspire a large staff team, promoting a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong, visible leadership to a large multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory frameworks
• Drive continuous improvement in care quality and operational performance
• Manage budgets effectively and maintain occupancy levels
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider community

• Ideally a registered nurse, although this is not essential
• Proven track record as a successful Home Manager or similar leadership role in a large care setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Commercially aware with the ability to balance quality care with business performance
• A passion for delivering outstanding care and a commitment to continuous improvement
