Role: Nursing Home Manager
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

We are currently seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead a well-established small to medium-sized nursing home in Huddersfield.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, resilient leader with proven turnaround experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in managing nursing homes through challenging periods, including lifting embargos and successfully guiding homes out of crisis situations. Your focus will be on nurturing the team, rebuilding trust with stakeholders, and driving the home’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and management to a small/medium nursing home
- Lead the home through post-crisis recovery and work towards lifting the embargo
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
- Develop and implement strategies to sustain operational excellence and quality care
Candidate Requirements:- Demonstrable experience managing nursing homes, particularly in turnaround situations
- Proven success in lifting embargos and managing homes coming out of crisis
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
