Job Description
Gilbert Meher is working closely with a market leading care and education provider who are looking for a Registered Manager for one of their established children’s homes, to create a setting where each child can thrive and reach their full potential.
This is a great opportunity to join Ofsted’s number 1 children’s home provider and help them to provide the highest quality care to our young people. The home accommodates up to 7 young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. This children’s home is part of an Integrated Therapeutic Provision, providing care, education and therapeutic services to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved for each young person.
They offer outstanding opportunities, experiences and support. All of their homes provide a high quality living experience with every young person having their own on-suite bedroom. The group's qualified and experienced staff support their young people as they learn and grow, they encourage the team to develop too. If you’re ambitious and resilient, our client will give you the chance to build an exciting career in a fast-growing organisation, where you’re free to achieve your potential.
As a Registered Manager, you’ll make sure your team and young people feel happy, safe and motivated and that the home operates to a very high standard. Managing day-to-day operations, you’ll take ownership of Ofsted statutory requirements, as well as playing an active part with the new referrals. The group pride themselves on providing an excellent level of care, because of this you will ideally have experience in managing an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding children’s home, however, if you’re a deputy manager looking to take a step up, we’d love to hear from you.
Your expertise should come with or be working towards a professional qualification: the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent. Enthusiastic, resilient and good with people, you’ll have the judgement to make key decisions and will be able to inspire, develop and grow exceptional teams and the leaders of tomorrow.
A full UK driving license is a must for this role.
The salary and benefits package is among the best in the sector. It includes our competitive base salary (£43,000- £47,000), bonus of up to 30% of your salary each year, £1,000 annual attendance bonus, up to 5% contributory pension, 35 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), BUPA Family Healthcare, comprehensive induction programme and exceptional ongoing training.
