Job Description:

We are delighted to be working closely with fast-growing & ambitious care provider in the UK. I’m looking to appoint a Residential Home Manager for their luxury nursing home local to Bath.

Our client is looking for a confident and driven manager, who will be an asset to their team and promote an atmosphere which enables residents to live as independently as possible.

Role: Residential Home Manager
Hours: Full Time
Salary: £50k - £60k per annum
Location: Bath

 
The Company

My client currently operates in excess of 20 care homes, providing leading services in residential care and the development of specialist services for residents with higher dependency needs. This includes; nursing care for infirm elderly, respite care, step-up and step-down care, end-of-life care and an award-winning specialist dementia service that is studied internationally.

Key Responsibilities


Experience Required
 

  • NMC Pin (Ideal, not compulsory)
  • Substantial experience of managing a Care/Nursing Home and track record of managing and leading an established staff team
  • High level of care knowledge and strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Prior experience and understanding of person-centred care
  • You will have the ability to manage both the care and ancillary functions of a care home
  • Experience with Dementia care
  • Good or Outstanding CQC Rating
  • Experience of developing senior carers to deliver quality care and best practice
  • Monitor business performance and quality of care through routine audit
  • Building effective relationships with local staffing team
  • Commitment to recruiting high calibre candidates
  • Ideally an NVQ/RMA Level 5 in Management and Leadership or a Registered Manager Award (or equivalent).
