Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Clinical Deputy Home Manager at our medium-sized nursing home in Shropshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day operation of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence in care delivery
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Oversee medication management and administration, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
  • Liaise with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and person-centered care
  • Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance management activities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care and administrative processes
Requirements:
  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Previous experience in a similar clinical leadership role within a nursing home setting is preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current best practices in nursing care
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently when required
  • Commitment to promoting the health, safety, and well-being of residents and staff
