Clinical Deputy Manager – Nursing & Dementia Care
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 DOE – 45 hours per week, includes weekends on a rota
I’m working in partnership with one of Sheffield’s most respected care providers to recruit a Clinical Deputy Manager for a well-established and highly regarded nursing home. About the Role:
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in all aspects of care delivery and operational leadership. You’ll be responsible for:
- Monitoring clinical standards and ensuring outstanding care is consistently delivered
- Leading and mentoring nursing and care staff, including rota planning
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care plans in line with residents’ changing needs
- Acting as a key contact for residents, families, and health professionals
- Stepping into leadership in the absence of the Home Manager
- Occasionally covering clinical shifts (day or night) when needed
About You:We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on nurse leader who genuinely wants to make a difference in the lives of residents and staff. You should have:
- Current NMC registration (RGN or RMN)
- Experience as a Deputy Manager or strong background as a Senior Nurse/Team Leader
- Excellent knowledge of dementia care and care compliance standards
- Great communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work toward it)
