Executive Headteacher (SEMH Provisions) - Colchester

Salary: Up to £75K + Car Allowance. Package is negotiable for exceptional candidates.

Gilbert Meher, in partnership with an independent school client, is seeking an exceptional Executive Headteacher to lead and inspire multiple SEMH independent schools across Colchester.

Your Role as Executive Headteacher:

• Establish and implement goals and policies that drive excellence across schools in your patch.
• Lead by example with clear values and moral purpose, ensuring outstanding education for all pupils.
• Work alongside the Education Director to foster a culture of achievement across schools.
• Monitor teaching, learning, and pupil outcomes, ensuring high expectations and curriculum standards.
• Uphold robust safeguarding practices and provide leadership for Ofsted inspections and compliance.
• Guide the senior leadership team and manage staff development initiatives.

• School leadership experience in a SEND setting or similar.
• Multi-site oversight experience is desirable but not essential.
• An individual with passion for inclusion and SEND.
• Commitment to delivering a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum.
