Operations Manager – Residential & Nursing Homes Location: Midlands (Regional role)
Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to take the lead across a small portfolio of high-quality residential and nursing homes within the Midlands. This pivotal role will suit a dynamic and strategic leader who is passionate about driving quality, compliance, and commercial success across multiple services.
The Role Reporting to the senior leadership team, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of several homes, ensuring they deliver exceptional, person-centred care and achieve the highest regulatory standards. You’ll provide mentorship and direction to Home Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all homes consistently deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
• Support Home Managers to achieve ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ CQC ratings.
• Lead on service development, performance management, and operational excellence.
• Oversee financial performance, occupancy growth, and workforce planning.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable change.
• Build strong relationships with regulators, commissioners, and internal stakeholders.

• Experienced multi-site or regional leader within adult social care.
• Demonstrable success in improving compliance, quality, and financial performance.
• Strong understanding of CQC frameworks and sector governance.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Clinical background (RGN/RMN/RNLD) advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the Midlands.
