Job Description:

Regional Care Trainer – Scotland
£40,000 + Mileage | Full-Time | Monday to Friday

I’m currently working with a well-established and highly regarded care provider to recruit a Regional Care Trainer to support homes across Scotland and occasionally other UK regions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate trainer with a background in health and social care to step into a regional role within a quality-driven and award-winning organisation. The role offers the chance to make a real impact on standards of care and staff development across multiple services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a wide range of care-related training courses to staff across care homes in Scotland and occasionally further afield.
  • Ensure training is engaging, compliant, and aligned with current care standards.
  • Support services with inductions, mandatory training, and ongoing staff development.

What We’re Looking For:
  • A recognised teaching/training qualification (e.g., Cert-Ed, PTTLS, CTTLS, Level 3 Award in Education & Training).
  • A strong background in health and social care, ideally with hands-on experience.
  • Previous experience delivering a variety of in-house care training sessions.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland (and sometimes wider UK).
  • Own vehicle and appropriate business insurance.

What’s On Offer:
  • £40,000 salary + mileage
  • Supportive and inclusive working environment
  • Full induction and paid shadowing shifts
  • E-learning incentive scheme
  • Paid annual leave and refer-a-friend bonuses
  • Rewards scheme and access to pension scheme
  • The opportunity to be part of a wider national training team making a real difference
This is an ideal role for someone who’s confident delivering training in a care environment, values high standards, and is excited by regional travel and the variety that comes with it.
If you're passionate about developing others and shaping the future of care, I’d love to hear from you.
