Regional Director – Elderly Care Homes

Location: North West England

Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

A highly respected care provider is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director to oversee a portfolio of elderly care homes across the North West of England.

This senior leadership position is ideal for an accomplished operational professional with a strong background in elderly care. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving quality, compliance, and performance across the region, ensuring the highest standards of care and regulatory excellence are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of Registered Managers across multiple care homes
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance and consistently high CQC ratings
  • Drive operational performance, occupancy levels, and profitability
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support recruitment, retention, and development of senior care staff
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and execute strategic objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and families
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in a senior operational role within elderly care (e.g., Regional Manager, Regional Director, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, compliance, and governance frameworks
  • Experience managing multiple services across a region
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent), with relevant sector-specific qualifications
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to management
