Location: Stranraer
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum (DOE)

Are you an experienced Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step? We’re working with a well-established national care provider seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead their small residential care home in Stranraer.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a stable home with a strong, supportive team and a reputable organisation that genuinely invests in its people and services.
The Role As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance. You’ll lead by example, inspiring and supporting your team to deliver person-centred care that promotes dignity, respect, and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing all aspects of the home’s operations
  • Ensuring full compliance with Care Inspectorate regulations and internal quality standards
  • Providing strong leadership, guidance, and support to staff
  • Managing budgets, occupancy, and resources effectively
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement to maintain excellent care outcomes
About You
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within residential or elderly care
  • Strong understanding of Care Inspectorate requirements and quality frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Passionate about providing person-centred, high-quality care
  • Confident managing people, performance, and budgets
