Registered Manager – Nursing Home

Location: Southampton

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead a well-established, medium-sized nursing home located in Southampton. This is a pivotal role requiring a passionate and commercially astute leader who can drive the home forward while maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance.

The Role:
The Registered Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the home, with a key focus on:

  • Leading, developing, and inspiring a dedicated team
  • Driving occupancy and overseeing the commercial success of the service
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Providing strategic direction and operational leadership
  • Cultivating a positive, person-centred culture that puts residents first

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be a confident and compassionate leader with:
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a nursing or residential care setting
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and drive business performance
  • A comprehensive understanding of CQC regulations and standards
  • A valid NMC pin is desirable but not essential
