Registered Manager – Elderly Nursing Home

Location: Sandbach

Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum DOE

Sector: Elderly Care | Nursing Home

Qualification: RGN Preferred

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead a well-established medium to large-sized nursing home in the Sandbach area. This high-performing home is dedicated to delivering exceptional standards of nursing and residential care for older people, including those with complex health needs and dementia.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong clinical background, ideally a Registered General Nurse (RGN), and a proven track record of successful home management within the elderly care sector. They will possess the leadership skills, vision, and knowledge required to maintain and exceed the home's already high standards, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring a safe, caring, and person-centred environment.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large, multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and ensure the home meets all CQC standards.
  • Drive occupancy, manage budgets, and promote the home within the local community.
  • Implement strategies for quality improvement and service excellence.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a nursing or care home setting.
  • RGN qualification preferred, with an active NMC pin.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices in elderly care.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding care and empowering staff teams.
