Role: Registered Care Home Manager – Luxury Dementia Care Home
Location: Dorchester
Salary: £70,000 + 10% Annual Bonus
We’re currently working in partnership with a leading and rapidly expanding care provider to recruit an experienced Registered Care Home Manager for a large, luxury residential dementia care home in Dorchester.

The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a proven leader with a strong background in residential dementia care. You’ll be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the home, including the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, team management, occupancy growth, and commercial performance.
You’ll be joining a supportive, forward-thinking business that places people at the heart of everything they do – both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
- Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing care and support team
- Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards
- Work closely with customer relations and marketing teams to drive occupancy
- Take full commercial control, managing budgets and controlling costs effectively
- Collaborate with hospitality and maintenance teams to uphold high environmental standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
Candidate Profile: We’re seeking someone who brings a blend of strong leadership, commercial awareness and deep compassion for delivering exceptional dementia care.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Manager within a care home setting
- A proven track record in residential dementia care
- Strong CQC knowledge with a good understanding of safeguarding and compliance
- Experience managing a large care team, with the ability to inspire and develop others
- Financial management and occupancy development experience
- A confident, resilient and motivational leadership style
