Care Home Manager – Cambridge

I’m delighted to be working in partnership with a respected and values-led care provider in their search for a new Care Home Manager for a well-established residential care home in the Cambridge area.

About the Home
The home provides 24-hour residential care for older people in a warm, welcoming environment. With spacious en-suite rooms, attractive communal areas, and beautiful gardens, the service has built an excellent reputation locally for its caring team and strong sense of community.
The Role
As Home Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the home’s operations, culture, and care delivery to the highest standards. You will:
- Lead with passion and purpose, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
- Foster a culture of authenticity, dignity, and kindness – where residents, families, and staff all feel a sense of belonging.
- Recruit, develop, and support a dedicated team, ensuring colleagues feel valued and empowered.
- Drive continuous improvement, striving for excellence within the CQC framework.
- Manage budgets responsibly, balancing operational efficiency with exceptional quality of care.
About You
We’re looking for a strong, values-driven leader with:
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager in residential or nursing care.
- A track record of achieving positive CQC outcomes and delivering excellent care standards.
- Excellent people management, communication, and organisational skills.
- A compassionate approach that always puts residents first.
- Ideally, a management qualification such as the Registered Managers Award or ILM Level 5 (or equivalent).
The Offer- A competitive salary of £60,000 plus benefits.
