Role: Peripatetic Customer Relationship Manager
Salary: £50k per annum OTE £75-80k per annum
Location: Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire

We’re looking for a Peripatetic Customer Relationship Manager to join our team and support a portfolio of care homes across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your sales and customer service expertise with a role that has real impact – helping families find the right care and ensuring new residents experience a smooth, supportive journey into their new home.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working closely with Home Managers and Regional Managers to support homes with occupancy, ensuring average weekly fee rates are met in line with budget expectations.
  • Leading on local networking activity, building and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources and community stakeholders.
  • Taking responsibility for managing self-funding enquiries – from first contact through to move-in – delivering a professional, empathetic, and seamless customer journey.
  • Hosting prospective customer visits, conducting follow-up calls, and ensuring a high-quality sales process.
  • Supporting the development of marketing strategies and implementing local initiatives to drive awareness and enquiries.
  • Preparing accurate sales management reports, managing budgets, and monitoring occupancy targets.
About you
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer relationship role, ideally within care homes, healthcare, hospitality, or a similar customer-focused sector.
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Confident, proactive, and adaptable – able to work across multiple sites and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong customer service ethos with the ability to support families through important decisions with care and professionalism.
